We were greeted on arrival and left to it really, which we found excellent due to the information provided in the guest book etc. The area is unique, again we found this beautiful being on a working equestrian centre, the horses added an amazing touch. The location is great as well, a 5/10 minute walk from the local village; pubs, shops and food and then only a 10 minute drive to the sea. Only 20 minutes to Minehead too; that’s got a bit more going on, it’s perfect for everyone. We’d like to thank Simon and Jill for our trip away, every thing was perfect.

Downside- there is some machinery noise (to be expected in a busy equestrian centre) and also noise from the factory next door. But the fact that I return and would happily return again says all you need to know.

The attached covered porch area doubles the living space and enables access to home amenities. The lodge is fully stocked and ready for a family stay, and there's even an enclosed garden where the kids can play safely and with privacy.
Simon and Jill were great hosts and helped us with anything we needed.

We explored the local areas, found beautiful walks and great pubs. The local beach at Blue Anchor and the Harbour at Watchet were lovely to spend the day at. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nearby is an old train station where often you can see steam trains coming by. Farm is located within walking distance to the town and local places of interest. It is also just out of A39 so in a great place to use as a base for your trips around the north coast of Summerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
