We had an enjoyable couple of nights at Williton in the Stable Lodge. Was lovely to see all the horses and the peacock, unfortunately not with his feathers open.

Our kids were in heaven. We are used to noisey nights with kids and white noise machines but can honestly say the industrial noise was barely heard and not at all on the weekend and we heard the faint choochoo of a steam train once only 🙂 my parents stayed in a nearby hotel as worried about this but were kept up by road noise whilst we slept peacefully! the place has all the amenities you need and is really comfortable with extra touches like milk, black out blinds etc. Thank you so much 🙂

  Simon's place is a great base for any activities in the Exmoor area. It's very private and cosy and the hosts are very responsive. I'd happily go there again.

The attached covered porch area doubles the living space and enables access to home amenities. The lodge is fully stocked and ready for a family stay, and there's even an enclosed garden where the kids can play safely and with privacy.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nearby is an old train station where often you can see steam trains coming by. Farm is located within walking distance to the town and local places of interest. It is also just out of A39 so in a great place to use as a base for your trips around the north coast of Summerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
